FAQs

How do I take homeopathic remedies?

  • General guidelines:
All remedies are absorbed through the mouth. Avoid eating, drinking (except water), using toothpaste, or smoking for at least 15 minutes before and after each dose.
  • Single pill:
Use a clean spoon to place the pill in your mouth. Chew, suck, or swallow. Avoid touching pills with your fingers.
  • Shake and take:
Place 2 pills in a 16oz water bottle. Shake 2–3 times before each sip. Take more frequently when symptoms are intense, and less as they improve. Use a fresh bottle every 24 hours.
  • Water potency:
Shake the bottle 3 times before each dose. Spray or drop the remedy under the tongue.
  • Tinctures:
Add the specified drops to a small glass of water or apple juice, then drink.
  • For children and animals:
Pills can be crushed or dissolved in water. If a pill drops, discard it.

How should I store homeopathic remedies?

  • Keep in a cool, dark place, away from direct sunlight, strong smells, and electronics.
  • Avoid exposure to strong scents like menthol, camphor, eucalyptus, and certain dental products.
  • If traveling, wrap remedies in aluminum foil or use lead-lined pouches to protect from X-rays.
  • Keep out of children’s reach to avoid choking hazards (though remedies are not toxic).

How long does homeopathy take to work?

Homeopathy can work within seconds or may require months or years, depending on the severity and history of the condition. Acute issues (e.g., poison ivy) may resolve quickly, while chronic conditions (e.g., lifelong asthma) take longer.

How often should I have consultations?

Most clients benefit from follow-up visits every 4–6 weeks during the first 6 to 12 months. However, this can vary based on individual cases.

When is homeopathy not recommended?

Homeopathy requires working closely with a qualified homeopath and a willingness to follow a treatment plan. If you cannot commit to this process, it may not be the right time to pursue homeopathy.
